Runners who finished among the top places at the Ülker Nicosia Half Marathon, organised by the Nicosia Turkish Municipality (LTB), have received their awards. Prizes were presented to athletes who placed in both the overall standings and the age categories across the 5 km, 10 km and 21 km races.
The event was held in cooperation with the Athletics Federation. At the ceremony, the awards were handed out by LTB Mayor Mehmet Harmancı, Athletics Federation President Ferhat Sakallı and representatives of the sponsoring companies.
With races over three different distances, the event gave both recreational and experienced runners the chance to compete on a course suited to their level. Rankings by age category also allowed athletes from various age groups to compete for prizes within their own brackets.
The Ülker Nicosia Half Marathon, brought to life through the joint efforts of the municipality and the federation, brought together running enthusiasts in the capital, with the ceremony concluding as the top finishers collected their prizes.
