The 'My Future, My Hope' project, organized by the Department of Youth under the Deputy Prime Ministry for Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment, has extended its school seminar series to Famagusta Vocational High School, following an earlier session at Democracy Secondary School.

Seminars are delivered by social work expert Barış Başel and cover topics including peer bullying, substance abuse, domestic violence, healthy eating habits, safe internet use and the ability to say no. The project aims to equip young people with the tools to make informed decisions and support their personal development.

Department Director Pınar Bıçaklı attended the sessions in person and addressed the students, wishing them success in the new academic year. She emphasized that the knowledge gained through these seminars would benefit participants well into adulthood and encouraged them to engage actively with the content.

Bıçaklı also extended her gratitude to the Development and Economic Cooperation (DEİ) office of the Turkish Republic's Embassy in Nicosia for its support of the project. The seminar series is set to continue at additional schools with the goal of raising social and personal awareness among youth across the region.
