A stretch of the Güzelyurt-Lefke Bypass Road, between the Güzelyurt Traffic Lights Junction and Doğancı Roundabout, will be closed to all vehicles in both directions on Sunday, November 1, from 08:00 to 10:30. Police announced the closure is due to a cycling race taking place in the area.
Drivers travelling in either direction during those hours are advised to use the old Güzelyurt-Lefke Main Road as an alternative route.
Police urged motorists passing through the area to drive slowly and with caution throughout the duration of the event.
