The Department of Agriculture under North Cyprus's Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources has released the results of routine food safety inspections carried out between October 23 and 28. According to the official statement, all 53 samples taken from both imported and locally produced food items were found to be free of any violations.
Of the total samples tested, 44 were drawn from imported products and 9 from locally produced goods. All samples met the required food safety standards.
The Department of Agriculture conducts such inspections on a regular basis to ensure consumer safety and monitor the quality of food products available on the market.
