TRNC Finance Minister Dr. Özdemir Berova released a congratulatory message on the occasion of the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey, celebrated on October 29.
In his message, Berova described the Republic as the embodiment of the Turkish nation's collective will and determination for independence. "The Republic was established under the leadership of Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, through the resolve and unwavering spirit of the Turkish people," he said.
Berova emphasized that the Republic is not merely a legacy inherited from the past, but a shared responsibility toward the future, calling on all citizens to uphold its fundamental values.
The minister also underlined the importance of Turkey's support for the Turkish Cypriot people, stating that the presence of the Republic of Turkey remains one of the most vital sources of confidence, solidarity, and hope for the TRNC.
Berova concluded his message by commemorating Atatürk, his comrades-in-arms, and all those who sacrificed their lives for the homeland, reaffirming his commitment to carrying the Republic's achievements forward.
