The second edition of the Cyprus Agri-Food Forum, organised under the EU-funded Eunite Programme for the Turkish Cypriot community, will be held from 3 to 5 November. The first and third days of the event will take place at the Goethe Institute in Nicosia, located in the buffer zone.
The forum will feature panels on a range of topics including new technologies, climate-friendly agriculture, EU policies, Green Line trade and community empowerment. Opening speeches will also be delivered at the Goethe Institute.
On the second day, Wednesday 4 November, participants will visit local entrepreneurs and businesses, offering an opportunity for on-the-ground observation and direct exchange.
Discussions will also focus on ways to enhance the sustainability and competitiveness of the local food sector, exploring how digital tools, knowledge sharing and bicommunal cooperation can contribute to these goals. Looking ahead, the theme for the 2026 forum has already been set: "Digital Roots – Connecting Farms, Food and Markets".
Sessions will be conducted in English with simultaneous interpretation into Turkish and Greek. Registrations are open at www.eunite-cyprus.eu.
