US President Donald Trump has once again voiced his support for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ahead of Israel's election on Tuesday, October 27. In a social media post, Trump addressed Israeli voters directly.
Describing Netanyahu as a "good prime minister", Trump said the message reaffirmed the electoral endorsement he had previously given.
"When you go to the polls, please remember that Bibi is an extraordinary wartime prime minister. Vote for Bibi Netanyahu as prime minister, we must finish what we started," the US President wrote.
Trump had already declared his full support for Netanyahu in a statement the previous week.
US Vice President JD Vance, however, had taken a different line, saying he did not intend to interfere in the Israeli election or issue a statement backing Netanyahu.
