The Rebirth Party (YDP) held a unity and solidarity dinner following its internal elections to select candidates for parliament. Party leader Erhan Arıklı attended the gathering, where the importance of internal solidarity ahead of the December 6 general election was emphasised.
Deputy leaders, parliamentary candidates, party officials and many members took part in the dinner. Hopefuls who had competed against each other during the candidate selection process shared the same table and had the opportunity to talk.
The main message of the event was that the democratic competition of the selection process had been left behind and that a spirit of joint work should be maintained going forward.
Held in a friendly atmosphere, the gathering underlined the need for party members to act in unity as they prepare for the general election. The evening ended with participants presenting a picture of togetherness.
