The Youth Organisation of the Republican Turkish Party (CTP) carried out an extensive programme in Beirut, Lebanon, between October 27 and 31, as part of the International Union of Socialist Youth (IUSY) Mediterranean Committee Meeting. The delegation, consisting of Foreign Relations Secretary Hüseyin Öksüzoğlu and Events and Organisation Secretary Sonay Demirpençe, conducted a series of high-level political engagements throughout the visit.

On the opening day of the programme, the CTP Youth delegation met with Lebanese Prime Minister Nawaf Salam at the Prime Ministry building. They also attended a lunch hosted by Lebanese Minister of Public Works and Transport Fayez Rasamny.

On Wednesday, October 28, the delegation held talks with Taymour Jumblatt, leader of the Lebanese Progressive Socialist Party (PSP). Later that day, they participated in a conference organised in cooperation with the Friedrich Ebert Stiftung, titled "Building the State and Strengthening Democracy: A Socialist Youth Vision from Lebanon to the Mediterranean." The event focused on institutional capacity-building, democratic values, and the role of socialist youth movements across the Mediterranean region.

From October 29 onwards, the delegation took part in the IUSY Mediterranean Committee working sessions held under the theme "Youth Against the Far Right in the Mediterranean: A Socialist Response." Discussions centred on the rise of far-right movements, threats to democracy, youth political participation, and the strengthening of international solidarity.

The CTP Youth Organisation reaffirmed its commitment to amplifying the voice of Cypriot youth on international platforms and deepening solidarity ties with youth organisations across the Mediterranean.
