North Cyprus President Tufan Erhürman is set to meet María Angela Holguín Cuellar, the Personal Envoy of the United Nations Secretary-General for Cyprus, on Monday morning. According to a written statement from the Presidency, the meeting will take place at the Presidential Palace beginning at 11:00 a.m.
Holguín Cuellar has been conducting diplomatic contacts on the island in her capacity as the UN's point person on the Cyprus issue. The meeting with President Erhürman is expected to cover the latest developments regarding efforts toward a resolution of the Cyprus problem.
