Traffic on the Değirmenlik-Kyrenia (Girne)-Esentepe route will be managed under controlled conditions from 27 October until 1 November because of road construction works planned along the road.
In a statement, the Highways Department asked motorists using the route to drive carefully and slowly for the safety of life and property while the works are under way.
The department also stressed that drivers must comply with traffic signs and follow the instructions of flaggers directing vehicles on the route.
Motorists travelling through the area during the works are advised to take the arrangement into account when planning their journeys.
