A scheduled power outage will affect the Türkeli area near Nicosia on Friday, the Turkish Cypriot Electricity Authority (Kib-Tek) has announced. The cut, required for project work on the electricity network, will begin at 09:00 and last until approximately 11:00.
In addition to Türkeli itself, premises along the Nicosia-Güzelyurt main road will be affected. Power will be off for facilities located between the Türkeli junction and Zet Karting.
Premises on the same main road between Yılmazköy and Girne American College will also be without electricity during the stated hours.
Kib-Tek said the outage is due to project work being carried out on the grid. Residents and businesses in the affected areas are advised to plan their Friday morning accordingly.
