TRNC Foreign Minister Tahsin Ertuğruloğlu released a congratulatory message on the occasion of October 29, Republic Day, marking the 103rd anniversary of the founding of the Republic of Turkey.
In his message, Ertuğruloğlu stated that the Turkish Cypriot people and the TRNC continue to strengthen their solidarity and unbreakable ties with Turkey, which he described as having become a global and regional power. "In the Century of Turkey, we will continue to march shoulder to shoulder, with shared goals and a spirit of national solidarity, building our future together," he said.
The minister also paid tribute to Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, founder of the Turkish Republic, describing him as an enduring source of inspiration for the Turkish Cypriot people, as well as to the heroes of the War of Independence.
Ertuğruloğlu concluded his message by expressing his wishes for the continued prosperity of both the Republic of Turkey and the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus.
