North Cyprus music initiative La Nouba held its third official event at the Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE) on the night of 22 October, joining forces with MoBlack Records at Panama Club in Amsterdam. The event attracted more than 700 attendees, including internationally recognised musicians, DJs, producers and industry professionals from various countries.
The night kicked off at 23:00 with a set by Manoo and ran through to 07:00 the following morning. Meera and Tripolism followed before MoBlack — DJ, producer and founder of MoBlack Records — took to the decks, bringing his signature Afro house sound to the crowd. Damian Lazarus then performed, with Notre Dame closing out the eight-hour event as daylight broke over Amsterdam.
The event was backed by an extensive international promotional campaign encompassing digital advertising, features on global music and events platforms, social media content and outdoor advertising across Amsterdam, reaching audiences well beyond the Netherlands.
The La Nouba team expressed their satisfaction at seeing months of intensive preparation culminate in such a successful gathering. They also underlined the importance of representing North Cyprus on the international stage, adding that the experience and connections gained at this third ADE appearance would inform future projects and collaborations.
As part of ADE's 30th anniversary celebrations, La Nouba ran a prize draw through which three couples won fully covered trips to Amsterdam. The six winners attended the Panama Club event and spent time exploring the city alongside the La Nouba team.
