Toplumcu Demokrasi Partisi (TDP) Secretary General Redif Ekinci shared the party's "First 90-Day Emergency Action Plan" on social media ahead of the December 6 elections, outlining concrete steps the party intends to take depending on its post-election position. Ekinci said the plan was the product of joint work by TDP committees, boards and parliamentary candidates.
According to Ekinci, the plan is structured in two tracks: 13 parliamentary initiatives if the party remains in opposition, and 27 measures if TDP becomes a coalition partner in government. He stated that the parliamentary schedule would begin at the first session after oath-taking, while the government schedule would be activated on the day of a confidence vote.
Among the planned parliamentary actions, Ekinci cited restricting parliamentary immunity to the floor of the assembly, investigating corruption allegations, ensuring transparency in public spending and establishing merit as the basis for public appointments. Should the party enter government, he said measures targeting the cost of living, deficiencies in hospitals and the improvement of public services would also be set in motion.
Ekinci directed pointed criticism at rival political actors, saying: "While others calculate how to strengthen their positions, protect their seats and secure their personal interests, TDP is working to produce solutions to the country's problems." He stressed that families struggling to make ends meet, patients awaiting healthcare and young people trying to build a future in their own country could no longer afford to lose time.
Closing with an accountability pledge, Ekinci said: "Those who ask for a mandate from the public must also be ready to answer to the public. We have written down what we will do. We are ready to be held accountable. Because for us, the future of our country is greater than anyone's personal calculations."
