The Ministry of Health in the Gaza Strip announced that the number of patients and wounded on waiting lists requiring urgent medical treatment outside the territory has reached 21,468, of whom 6,430 are classified as priority cases.

According to the ministry's statement, a total of 3,056 patients and wounded individuals have been evacuated from Gaza for treatment since February. Of these, 2,614 crossed through the Rafah Border Crossing, while 442 passed through the Kerem Abu Salem Border Crossing.

The statement stressed that the successive and abrupt closures of border crossings have seriously disrupted the medical evacuation process.
